On my '70 TR6, the tilting handle's base (where the attaching screw is) is just ahead of the B post when the seat is fully back. This is on an original car. Rod. CC55899L

Rod, Thanks for the information. This seems to match the position of my seat, although it seems to have about another 2-3" which the seat could slide back if not for hitting the b-post. Scott Suhring

Thanks Todd: I think I received enough consistant responces to determine that in general (100% of sample survey ;-) ) that the reclining/tilt handles do not go past the bpost, thus my concern is prob

FWIW: Here is a simple fix. After redoing the seats on my 74.5 TR6 I noted that the same thing, namely that there still were two more positions on the seat rail, and that the seat stopped sliding ba
