I have had nothing but problems with DOT 5 fluid and have ended up purging it from my systems and replacing with DOT 4. Even though I pressure bleed the (entirely new) systems I would still get tiny

Jim--Regarding the occasional soft pedal, it sounds more like air is in one or more of the lines, rather than a leak past the master cylinder. Leaks here will almost always show up with a trickle of
