Jim---Regarding the occasional soft pedal, it sounds more like air is in one or more of the lines, rather than a leak past the master cylinder. Leaks here will almost always show up with a trickle of brake fluid running down the brake servo, directly under where the m/c bolts on. A soft pedal can't be blamed on one fluid type more than another, if air is present. I'd suggest doing a four wheel brake bleed. Dick T. '73 |
