Hi all, Well, the wiper motor is in the '3. It looks absolutely fabulous, thanks to a large part to "FT". There are 2 wires to be hooked up, on green and black/green. I have two terminals. From Bill

Dang it, forgot again, there is also a black wire about 4" away from the wiper wires, where does this one attach to the body? Where do the wiper wires get routed to the motor? Under on of the legs? T

After hooking up the motor like it should I tried to run it. Nothing, the motor did not turn. Okay, what did I miss & what are my steps to diagnose? I checked the voltage to the motor on the main gre

If you can read 12V directly between the two terminals on the motor, then the problem is inside the motor. If not of course, then there's a problem with your wiring. Do a quick resistance check betw

Hi all, I am still in the process of figuring out why this motor doesn't want to run motor. Could someone verify the external wire hookup of the green and black/green wire. I currently have the green

Your wiring is correct. Note that if it wasn't, the motor would still run, until the park contacts closed and blew the fuse. The wire that runs the length of the motor goes from terminal 1 to the pa

Well, this does have me really perplexed :-P Yeap, Randall, did the resistance check and 1ohm was the reading. It also sounds like the "park" wire is correct as well. I doubled checked the resistance

And did you check the voltage across the terminals (not just across the wires) ? If you're getting 12v there, then either the field winding is open (I was wrong before, 12 amps would probably not bl

Okay, 12v across the terminals. I turned it on again and with a little fustration tapped the housing with the handle of a screw driver, it moved!! Not much but it moved. Then stopped, tapped again, m
