- While attaching the right front shock this evening I pulled too hard on the wrench and stripped the captive threads which hold the shock in place. What's the solution....retreading in a larger size?

- Curt and Blake The thread is certainly not metric: the only metric threads are in the engine. It's probably BSF but TDs were made during the period of change to UNF so I guess that's possible. Check

- The threads for the front suspension on all TDs will be BSF. I don't know, right off the top of my head what the exact size is, but it wii be BSF. The only UNF threads used on the TDs were on the rea

- Thank you all for the advise regarding the stripped shock mount thread. I took the easy way out and retreated the mount to 7/16-20 and drilled the shock to accept the 7/16" bolt. The local shops only
