I have a 78 Spit in need of a fuel tank and sender. I found one, which was described to me, and seems to be correct, but the fuel line comes out the bottom. Mine comes out the top via a syphon line.

You're correct, the early Spitfire (Spitfire 4 to Mk xx?) tank has the bottom fuel line, the later have the top syphon line. It might be possible to adapt it if you're truly desperate. Is your tank
