There are no bushes in the HS2 carbs on the spitfire. I put oversized shafts in my 64 spit and it made a world of difference in the idle characteristics. Well worth the money to do it. If you want r

If you are going to rebush the carbs (the recommended procedure), it is unnecessary to use oversized shafts. The standard size shafts will fit all the linkage pieces better. Joe Curry

I used oversized shafts. It greatly simplifies the machining required. Joe Curoto (sp) sells the shafts and the correct size reamer, not cheap. Or Apple Hydraulics will do it for you, maybe Joe does
