Well, I received many good suggestions to remove the very much adhered plastic film from the aluminum sheeting. (plus some other replies<grin>)......... I've tried paint thinner....nothing I've tried

I doubt oven cleaner or even paint stripper would work. I routinely use plastic sheet to cover paint stripper to keep it from drying out so fast and oven cleaner is chemically very similar. Lacquer t
