I believe the paint you are looking for is also used for the steel wheels. Moss sells it in an aerosol can, code # 220-560, Silver. I'm sure the other parts houses have it also. NFI John 74 TR6

The thermostat housing should be natural aluminum color, no paint. Over time, the aluminum oxidizes and tends to take on a brownish color, but the correct finish is natural aluminum. Vance Hi folks,
