- Master cylinder's blown. Bypassing internally under light pressure and sealing under hard pressure. Happens to Fords all the time. Luke '71 spit vehicle!

- Thanks. That is what I suspected. I bought a remanufactured master cylinder at lunch today. They had one on the shelf. Final cost for it will be $15.99 after returning my core! Aren't common American
