FYI, the winning 99 Miata (D. Disimo) at Texas changed from Saturday's Kumhos to the 225/45-15 Hoosier A3S03 for Sunday. The results say the rest. M Sipe

I kibitzed while they were mounting up the first tire at Ron Ver Mulm's trailer Saturday afternoon. I was amazed first that Ron got the tire mounted singlehandedly and second that it fit on the front

I'd sure like them better on 8" rims too, but IT rules limit to Of course if we could run 8", then I'd be trying 245 or 255 :) One guy at the ARRC did do that on the rear of his RX7 for the gearing.

Today I got a pair of Hoosier 225/45/15 tires for the front of my RS. They are WIDE!!! Seems like they would be perfect on an 8" rim. Specs say 7-9". Has anyone run them successfully (or not!) on a

Both my uncle and myself ran these exact sizes on 6.5" wide 300ZX rims last year (he had a 1985, and I had a 1986). The outside edge wore out real quick, but I think that's because we didn't have any

I ran 225/45/16 Hoosiers on a 7" rim on the front of my 968 and did not have any problems. I did initially had some outside edge wear issues, but it was due to me overdriving the car. I got about 75
