- I have two quick questions.. I would like to know if the 68-70 1600's came with different grill than the 2000's. I know the 2000's have the "D" emblem. Does the 1600's have the older horizontal bars/

- Yes, The 1600 has a different grill. All horizontal. The 2000 has the "D." The 1500 is both horizontal and vertical. On the rear end swap I think you will find its the other way around putting a 1600

- I've got both of them. The 1600 is robust and has no problem speeding around. Just keep it tuned up. Off the line, it's not going to beat a 2000 (also tuned up). With my 1600 I've beat 2000's that we
