I've been using it for years. I tried Penrite's lever arm shock oil #2 but it wasn't stiff enough so I went back to 30wt or 40wt fork oil (road and race respectively). No complaints and possibly bett

That's one way. Another would be to remove the drain plug at the bottom of the shock, catch the valve as it pops out, note which way round it goes, let the oil drain out, bounce the car up and down a
