Is there any way a "do-it-yourselfer" can evacuate Freon R12? I find I must remove my radiator,trans cooler, AC condenser. Everything is hanging there right now with the AC lines connected. Suggestio

Yes, but probably not legal. If you have gauges, evacuate into a large jug of water. Not sure if it does anything to alleviate the "pollution" problem, but it will cut down on the cloud of gas. Legal
