I bought the top of the line version a few months ago when it was on sale. It does a fantastic job and with the split point option you can sharpen a drill down to the last bit of flute if need be. If

How about just using a 57 degree angle form to verify the grind you put on the drill point using a grinding wheel, i.e., doing it the old fashioned way? It takes a little practice, but it's certainly
