Any meter that uses a narrow band 02 sensor can only tell you whether you are lean, rich, or at stoichometric. Stoichometric (14.7:1 air/fuel) is best for emissions, but not for power. For power you

I'd guess (I haven't got mine going yet) you could tune it to stoich and actually have a reasonably good running car. And if it doesn't run great at stoich, richen up the mixture until you are happy

If you take it to a shop that does good quality custom crank work, they can weld it up and machine it back to the correct dimensions.

This doesn't look like it will fit an SRL-311 69, since it lists SR311, Also it says L20, which can't be the U20. I assume I'm right, any chance these will fit my SRL311 SUs? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebay

Someone told me the 70 2000 carbs used those float needles but I don't know. They are the same as a 1600 however. L motors came with SUs - 240s and others overseas, but I don't remember what kind of

Unrelated to your question, but a nice bit of info for a roadster owner. The "L" in "SRL" means left hand drive. Cars without the "L" are right hand drive. I don't know why a carb kit would different
