The above article at Autospeed has a decent writeup on the workings of 02
sensors, and explains why a narrow band sensor cannot be used reliably for
tuning anything but stoich. Unfortunately it doesn't have much good to say
about the WB sensors either, but they are better.

www.megasquirt.info/  has a clear, easy to read writeup on the narrow and
wideband 02 sensors also....Under "Sensors and Wiring".

Honda has used the WB 02 sensors on some of their high milage Civics.
