I took mine apart. Bought a quart carton of charcoal at the local tropical fish suppy house and refilled the canister with it. Put it back together and it seems to work just fine. Craig Wiper craigw@

Rick and others, I am pretty sure that washing the charcoal is a necessary step. It avoids sucking charcoal (a mild abrasive) into the engine. -Vince San Antonio
