Thanks Randall, Preloading the bearing makes a lot of sense; my TOB seems fine once it's loaded. I'd like to try this. Any suggestions as to how and where to add the extra spring to do this? Brian an

I've been reading this thread with a sense of deja vu all over again. My GT6's TO bearing used to squeal whenever I wasn't depressing the clutch pedal. I even pulled the tranny out once and replaced
