Does anybody have a front a-arm upper and or lower out of their car that they could measure the width of the socket where the bushings fit with a set of micrometers or calipers? I am looking for TR6

I checked two TR4 arms, one was 1.135" the other 1.125". Plus or minus a couple. Randall == This list supported in part by The Vintage Triumph Register == http://www.vtr.org

Thank You Dave for confirming this info. The reason that I asked this question is that you & Randall both mentioned that you measured a TR4 arm, But you didn't state if it was a TR4/A arm or not. Whi

Small clarification on the TR4 upper wishbone arms. I believe later model TR4s used the same upper arms as the 4a-6 models. Changeover was around CT6390 per the Triumph parts catalog. Lower wishbone

Well, I disagree. Late TR4 used the same upper A-arms as TR4A through TR6. To the best of my knowledge, the arms I measured came from a late TR4, late enough to also have the spacers between the axl

Dave The later TR4s had a different, unique trunnion which built in the 3 degrees of caster along with the TR6 style upper a arms and ball joints. Vertical links stayed the same though as the earlie
