Didn't someone at one time weld a extension strip around the inside edge of the door frame to double the width of the glue seam area? It seems like that would give a much better bond to the door skin

i was thinking of that this summer ..the only thing was wondering if it would worp door shell guess spot weld and tig weld it ..but still worried about that lol the door frame to double the width of
