That is how the manual states one should re-install an engine into the car when one has been removed leaving the gearbox in the car. Just spent an aggravating afternoon trying to do just that. Engine

Hi Nick, While it's straightforward to take out the gearbox in isolation, I've never been tempted to take the engine out and leave the 'box behind. It's a lot less work to remove and replace both as
