Set points to 37 thou ( as I have the 40kv coil), timing about 12 degrees before (maybe it should be more if I am still pinking ), used a unisyn to set the airflow and a colourtune to set the mixture

I agree with Michael, as when I got my car (with flat tyres) I also opted for the standard size inexpensive replacements. Basically I looked for softer tyres so that they would hopefully grip better

If you have the standard stromberg carb it has a bimetallic heat sensitive flap that rattles a lot at the front of the air filter box. Originally it looks like it had a thin rubber foam seal piece. J

Should be the same as in my 76. I don't have picture but the ones in the Haynes and Bently are correct if you have them. They should be the same orientation if you go in a circular fashon I believe.
