LARRY, You can put the 300 crank in & then you have the ballance problem!!!! Why not do like I have done & off grind the rover 4.6 to the 3.4 stroke & use the ford pistons & the early rover rods. 10-

What I have herd & read over the years on the M.G. The factory had 7 M.G. V-8's in N.J. for the feds. to test for the tail pipe emissions All of a sudden the factory called them back, thay said that

You will need a late stearing rack, the shaft is 1 1/2" longer & will need to cut it to make fit were the exhaust manafold bolt clears the U-joint. There is nothing wrong with the 77-80 colling fans

Back in 63-64 Vic Elderbrock did a dino. ( hot rod I think) test on these motors & he said that a 8.8 & 10.5 motors were realy 8.3 & 10 to 1. & that the 8.3 motor made 135 hp. & the 10.5 motor made 1
