after an almost two year search i just bought a 1979 tr7 convertible with the all aluminum buick v-6 in it. i had a 72 gt6 and an 80 tr7 factory. the gt6 was a little too small and a little too hot.

i received my "new" 1979 tr7 last saturday. decided to repack the front bearings. i removed the dust caps and found the dustcaps were "packed" with a blue / grey grease!!! after digging all that out,
