This is a shot from the hip, but I'll bet it is a premix with the water already added. They are starting to sell 50/50 premix here in the states. At about the same price as straight ethylene glycol.

Me too. I suspect that a good, healthy 30% of the clutch pins out there are broken. But they usually don't break cleanly and the broken pieces will bind up and cause the clutch to continue to operate

Going by the car's commission number, you don't have overdrive so draining is a bit simpler than if you did. There is a drain plug on the bottom of the transmission. The factory installed a plug with

I broke my eight point socket trying to remove the plug on my TR6. Annoyed me greatly as it was one of the few tools I inherited from my grandfather. Moral: get a good one. Dave

Simpler than that, since it is a pipe thread, you can replace the plug with bushings and hose barb and fit the tube from your oil pump and pressure feed it from underneath. You'll have to guess as to

I was looking at a some TR3A's at the local car show yesterday and thought I saw a slight boss on one of the doors at the handle but then thought it might have been a gasket that got some paint on it

Not only is it possible but highly likely. If they had any doors without holes they would have drilled them. Adding bosses would require reworking the tooling which could wait until the old tool wore
