no, many, such as my own, were fitted with 1600 xflow (cortina) engines in the factory. a few were fitted with the 1300 engine though these required the removal of a chassis member to fit the altern

be VERY careful... Greene King being our local brewery, Abbot was the cause of many late-night-bicycle-in-the-hedge incidents during my adolesence ;-) thankfully no Lotii were involved at that stage

would it be over-simplifying to say 3.75 : Triumph pattern 4.00 : Ford pattern ? Interestingly the Series 4 Seven uses the same triumph upright as the Europa, but was generally fitted with Ford (4.0
