Wow...44 mpg. I recently drove my 1970 Mk3 (1296cc, single Stromberg, no OD) from Chicago to Iowa City, IA. Averaged 34.1 mpg for the trip. Seems like the OD really makes a difference! Adam '70 Mk3 '
