There are two possibilities: Holley and Mr Gasket make a fuel pump safety switch you can tie into the coil. The Mr Gasket one opens at <15psi and Holley opens at ??. You can find them in the JEGS cat

Lean baby lean. And cheap gas. It will run hotter, but cleaner. Just adjust the mixtures and timing back when you're though. Hey, check and make sure your air pump is working, most fail prematurely.
