- I agree that the UK 1500 engine was the strongest, but the US spec 1500 was less powerful than the 1275. In the Gold Portfolio you refer to, it gives the highest bhp for US spec as 65, for the 1275

- The '71 Midget weighs 1700 lbs. The '74 Midget weighs 1800 lbs. (must be those big rubber over-riders on the bumpers). I'd guess the earlier cars are lighter and the later ones heavier. Am I right? -
