Don't know about a Chevy 350 but a Dodge 318 certainly will.

I take exception to that comment. My 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 full size pickup with a 318 and a 5 speed has one heck of a time with big hills when loaded for a race. I could not see anyone using the word

Derek, define "keeping the revs up"... I'm turning about 3000 to 3100 RPM's doing 65 to 70. That is right at the peak of the torque range. As I approach the bottom of a big hill I routinely floor it,

I think Auto trans makes a big difference with towing - I had a '94 Dodge p/u with 318 and auto, and it towed a 20' enclosed trailer like it wasn't there. As I recall it had a button for tow mode on
