Well, it's time for new tires on my '72 Spitfire. And, of course, the three dealers I've approached so far have no idea what to put on the car - none of their current manuals have a listing for Spit

I have seen 165/60 R 13 inch tires, I believe Goodyear makes them and I would think these would be very close to the running 155 dia stock tire. when I change the GT6+ tires I will be going to these

Try 185/70x13, same circumpherence as the 165x13 so no odo error. Costco / Price Club has the Michelins around 55$ each. This is what I'll be putting on my '74 later this year. I now have 205/60x13 2

Ken, I too, have a 72 Spitfire and I have been running 175/70R13's for a couple of years now. The original tyres (note the UK spelling!) called for are 145R13's, with 155R13's being something of an u

175 - 70 - 13 for size and might I suggest one with an "A" traction rating and a wear rating of 300 or better. Any major brand will do as you will not punish your SPIT with aggressive driving. Heck -
