I am running 185/70x13 on a 79 Spit. The 79 comes with rims that are 1/2 inch larger than older cars. With stock spring and shocks I get some rubbing in the rear end when I am in a hard corner and hit a good size bump. Like going into my driveway at about 30mph. For you average SANE driver this would not be a problem!!! I hope the new Spax shocks will help this! Dave C 79 Spit. |
