- I'm having a hard time breaking apart the gas pedal linkage to remove it from the body. I got one of the pins out, but the thing won't separate. Any tricks to this? Terry Smith '59 TR3A

- Lots of oil and elbow grease. On many cars these things have 40+ years of dirt and rust holding them together. If you've removed the pins, they should come apart, but it's likely to take some effort

- I drilled my pins out and never was able to separate them. I believe I heard that they were never intended to separate, but then why would you have the pins? With the engine out of the bay, you can
