As already suggested, leave it in the sun (um, not in the grass, I had a tonneau shaped patch of dead grass for 6 months) to warm up. Install it in the sun. Some fabrics stretch better when damp, and

My TR4 tonneau fits very tight. I have found that it is easier to first fasten the snaps by the windshield since they are so hard to reach, then I fasten the lift the dot snaps around the cockpit. I

I bought at an attractive price an original early Tonneau for use on my late TR6 and it too was too short. I solved the problem by adding loops of black 12 guage wire to each of the front grommets...
