Those are pretty much U.S.-only. They were available as dealer-installed options for Spitfire and Herald from about the 1964 model year, but in truth were very often THE installed wheel cover/hubcap

I think that's probably true, and it's probably due to marketing decisions by Standard-Triumph USA, who apparently felt it necessary to dress up cars for the American market. Further examples of that
