- You'll probably get better advice than mine, but have you checked your thermostat? Maybe it is sticking or diaphragm torn, broken.. ? It should stay closed til car is warmed and open at certain temp

- If that's not a dyslexic 185, then I'd say that's the problem. It *should* run only slightly above the opening temperature of the thermostat, that's the way it's supposed to work. Randall
