Was the product " Syl Glide" ? I use the stuff all over wheel cylinder cups and caliper seals. As for using it on pins, are you talking about the pins that go through the brake pad backing plate on a

I've always used "Lubriplate" white lithium grease under the sliding rear wheel cylinders, on the ends of the shoes and in and about the brake adjustors -- as per the repair manuals. Can't say as I'v
