Was the product " Syl Glide" ? I use the stuff all over wheel cylinder cups
and caliper seals.
As for using it on pins, are you talking about the pins that go through the
brake pad backing plate on a 2 piston fixed caliper? If so these need no
lube since movement is very slight and the holes are pretty large in relation
to the pin size.
I do use Syl Glide on single piston caliper slide pins.
