Which big brothers are you talking about? TR6s used a metal hydraulic clutch line, not rubber. I don't know that any Triumphs used a rubber clutch hose. Gosh, even the Herald had a metal hydraulic cl

Actually the TR-6 uses both. The line that comes off the clutch master cylinder is metal. But as the line leaves the engine bay for the slave cylinder, the line becomes a bright red plastic line. Pat

Ummm, you might want to look again yourself! All the big TR's I've ever seen (and I own a couple myself) have a rubber (or braided) hose as part of the clutch hydraulics. Only the top part is metal.

All engines that I'm aware of move around at Nope. My 77 Spit has a plain old inflexible metal clutch hydraulic line. Ken 77 Spit with just the paint job left to go.
