- For Heralds there is no torque setting given. I would recommend hand tight plus a little "umph". Also, use sealing locktite(FelPro Grey Bolt Prep recommended) to keep it tight, and leak free. Scott

- Reread- thought you meant the ones holding the half shafts into the diffy... You apparently meant halfshafts to U-Joind plates. 24-28 is shown in the Herald book, use nylock nuts. Scott /// triumphs@

- The Haynes manual lists 28-30 lbs. but I've never figured out how to get a torque wrench in there. I use several extensions and if one does that I don't think the torque readings are accurate. Use n
