- The brackets adjust camber and ride-height, the shims adjust toe. Note - with 3 shims on the outer and inner, you've increased the track length by about 3/16" - again, this shuld be unnecessary. rega

- Ah - that's a problem. Most of your "off the shelf" hardware store bolts come in increments of .5", so you have 3 and 3.5" as your choice. If you want to get the exact right bolt, AN is the way to go

- Do a leakdown test. It'll tell you if the ring is bad on #2. The values for cyls 3, 4 and 5 look iffy to me. A leakdown test will prove if the valves are sealing and/or the head gasket is bad. Back
