My 64 has the same three position switch, appears to be factory stock. The only change to the panel has been replacing the electric water temp guage with a mechanical one, all else is stock. Jeff Hef

Welcome aboard, I tried an H pipe and took it out. The benefit is out weighed by the cracking caused by the exhaust pulses. I run Flowmaster 3 chamber mufflers part # 42550, great sound. Jeff Hefner

I'm referring to the H pipe cracking at the welds doe to the exhaust pulses not being synchronized and the H pipe makes the entire system too ridgid. I had the same problem with a cross-over exhaust
