Bob,
The tool is available at most aviation parts or tool suppliers, works
great and gives you an indication of where the problem is, exhaust, intake,
rings, etc. I just did a differential on an R-2600-35 engine on a B-25 and
was able to pinpoint one burned exhaust valve, three carbon stuck exhaust
valves, and one set of bad rings. Any way the tool is available from Aircraft
