I have on my motor. I can't tell you if it made any difference in cooling because it is the only pump I have ever run on that motor. A standard pump can be modified to work like the Flow Kooler pump.

Beware that the temperature read by the IR guns is dependent on the emissivity of the surface being measured. These sensors expect a flat black surface and the temperature they read will be in error
