- I dunno but 948's have only one camshaft "bearing" while 1275's have three? I would think a call to 1-800-aptfast would resolve the question post-haste though I'm sure Paul, Pete or Ed would know. Bu

- Just remember that the effect of any particular camshaft grind for a 1275 will have more of a pronounced effect on the smaller displacement 948. Fr'instance, an SPVP3 or Kent "286" on a "fast" 1275 f

- They are interchangeable as the cam journal sizes are the same. A quick check of my old sprite books shows that the stock 1275 has the same grind as the stock 948 so that shouldn't change the perform
