Just finished the teardown of the bonnet assembly on my doner GT6 for my spit6 project. What a mess, the leading edge of the bonnet is toast. the rest of it is solid and rust free. I have new fender

Keeping in mind that the leading edge of the bonnet is provides its rigidity from left to right. Made the mistake driving with one once like that, it beat up my sill and firewall. Occasionally, with

My experience too. I've recently finished working on my 1500 bonnet. I started out replacing the inner headlamp panels because of rot. I uncovered several stress cracks at the front cross member, and
