My manifold is a Cannon but it is almost straight. That sure explains a lot. What type of manifold is in the pic? Vic W.

Paul, I looked at the manifold when I got home and it is offset by about 3/4 inch. It looks like the one in your pic has more of an offset than 3/4 inch. With the filter in place on the carb, the top
