- I just filled up the spit here in N. VA, reg. 1.31, hi-test 1.39, & premium 1.48, this is Exxon, Shell across the street was the same prices. Off brands are about .08 per gallon less.

- Must be the taxes. Just filled up today in Central New York: 87 octane is $1.45, 89 octane is $1.49, and 93 octane (which my 2000 Galant V6 requires, for some strange reason) is a bargain at $1.57 a

- Keep on coming - it's even cheaper here in Georgia! I think we have the cheapest gas in the country (i.e. lowest gas tax). Right now, it's about 91.9 for 87 octane, and 120.9 for 93 premium. Chip in
