I bought a 79-80 radiator, with fan, shroud, etc. The fan motor is 4 or 5 inches long. All the pictures I can find of this type radiator show the motor in the fan. Do I have an early version of this

Your fan motor sounds like my 1980. They are conventional looking electric motors with a fan blade on the end, as opposed to the pancake motors used by the Japanese car manufacturers. A-arms do get d
